Next week LCS will celebrate Read Across America Week! In addition to dropping everything and reading each day (and a literacy based door decorating competition), there will be a daily opportunity
for students and staff to dress up to celebrate our different literary themes. Please see the flyer for more details!
Please don't forget to attend the district meeting on Saturday, March 7th in the gym at LCS! Discussions regarding the operating budget will begin at 7:00 p.m. The polls will be open from 4-7:30 p.m.! Good Morning Everyone. Due to tomorrow's temperatures we will be postponing Winter Activity Day until Monday, February 9th. While we cannot accurately predict the temperatures a week from now, this will at least give staff more time to plan enriching indoor activities for portions of the day if this cold snap continues. Thank you all for your flexibility!

Ms. Murray's kindergarteners paraded up and down the halls this afternoon donning homemade letter vests and singing their ABCs! They were celebrating the completion of learning ALL of their letters!
Attention Parents of Bus Riders! Due to the concert on Friday there will be no basketball or cheer practice. We have no bus Friday so this will mean that there are more students than usual needing to ride the van and SUV. We are anticipating 3 runs of each. If you are able to pick your child up that day please let us know by the end of the day tomorrow so we can plan the quickest, safest and most effective routes for our students.
