Stakeholders

You are cordially invited to attend a stakeholder meeting regarding focused professional development and priority areas at the Lempster School.

As a valued member of our school community, your insight is vital to our success. The purpose of this meeting is to gather feedback on the new school improvement plan, discuss upcoming initiatives, and plan improvement processes for the academic year.

Section 4106(e)(2)(A) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), mandates that when a Local

Educational Agency (LEA) distributes funds under the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) program (Title IV, Part A), it must prioritize the distribution of funds to schools that:

Are among those with the greatest needs, as determined by the LEA.

Have the highest percentages or numbers of children counted under the Title I, Part A poverty criteria.

Are identified for comprehensive support and improvement (or targeted support and improvement) under Title I.

Are identified as a persistently dangerous and public elementary or secondary school under section 8532.

In essence, this section ensures that federal SSAE grant funding is directed toward schools and student populations with the most significant academic and safety-related challenges.

If you are interested in being a stakeholder for your Lempster School, please contact Superintendent Lewis at JLewis@SAU71.org.
